It’s Inception
Founder Edwina Patterson says, “Years ago, several young women came to me and asked me to begin mentoring them. They didn’t feel equipped to meet the challenges that face families today: the fast pace of life that we have, the lack of morals in society, the complacency of failed marriages, the materialism, and the violence. They were looking for a role model, and I’m still amazed that they came to me for answers. But I guess they saw in me someone that was very approachable, non-threatening… and a success story. My husband, R.J., and I have been married over 50 years. We have three grown children and seven grandchildren. These young women were watching the lives of our children and the way they were choosing to raise their own children, and they wanted to know what our secret was. And thus Redeeming the Time was birthed.

What began as a ministry focusing on equipping/encouraging the Christ-centered home, has evolved into so much more. It has developed into a ministry focusing on bringing men and women to the point of realizing that they need to redeem the time in their lives. We are all faced with circumstances that are changing all the time. ‘How do I capture and redeem the time God has given me?’ is the question we’d like to help you answer.”
